2023 VenangoREADY Educator Event & Industry Tours

Educators: Join us for an open house to learn more about VenangoREADY and local business opportunities for your students, held at the Klapec Trucking Warehouse in Reno on April 13th!

VenangoREADY is a workforce preparedness initiative of the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce with area schools. The Education Committee for the Chamber is a planning an event for all Venango Area educators to learn more about the county-wide initiative. We invite teachers, school counselors, administration, and staff from A-C Valley, CLA, Cranberry, Forest, Franklin, Oil City, Titusville, Valley Grove, VRCS, and VTC schools. Educators will also have the chance to tour Klapec Trucking and Webco at their Reno locations, in addition to meeting other local businesses who will be set up at the main event location. 

Attendees can sign up for optional tours of Webco and Klapec Trucking, both in Reno, during registration, and also the day of the event if tours are not full. Attendees will be responsible for driving themselves to these locations (both within 1 mile of main event).

This event is "open house" style (stay as little or as long as you like), with doors opening at 3:30pm at the Klapec Warehouse. You can sign up for a scheduled tour through registration. There will be short VenangoREADY presentations and prize drawings at 4:30pm and 6:00pm at the Klapec Warehouse. Food and drinks will be provided. Teachers can receive Act 48 hours for attending, so be sure to have your PPID.
