Educators: Join us for an open house to learn more about VenangoREADY and local business opportunities for your students, held at Komatsu Mining Corp. in Franklin on April 9!
VenangoREADY is a workforce preparedness initiative of the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce with area schools. The Education Committee for the Chamber is a planning an event for all Venango Area educators to learn more about the county-wide initiative. We invite teachers, school counselors, administration, and staff from A-C Valley, CLA, Cranberry, Forest, Franklin, Oil City, Titusville, Valley Grove, VRCS, and VTC schools. Educators will also have the chance to participate in business tours, in addition to meeting local businesses who will be set up at the main event location.
This event is "open house" style. Food and drinks will be provided. Teachers can receive Act 48 hours for attending, so be sure to have your PPID. We also give away LOTS of prizes and swag!
There will be an open house from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Komatsu, with additional on-site business tour opportunities (details coming soon)!
