Venango County Fair, Inc owns and operates the county fairgrounds and conducts the annual Venango County Fair in August each year. The fairgrounds are located on Route 62 three miles south of Franklin and includes 66 acres with several buildings, the Kiwanis Bowl (an outdoor show ring), Phillips Arena (an indoor show ring), a picnic and recreation area. The Auditorium Building is home to the Penn State Cooperative Extension Service with runs the 4-H program. Indoor storage space for cars, campers, boats, etc. is available from October 1 to April 1. Two buildings, the Autorium and the Log Cabin Classroom are available for year round use of the community for a fee. Venango County Fair is a showcase for county agriculture, 4-H projects and to have a good time.
