The Transition to Adulthood Program (TAP) is provided by the 501C non-profit organization St. Michael's Harbour, Inc.. TAP was developed to meet an identifiable service gap existing for young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) during the transition between high school and young adulthood. TAP's ultimate goal is to assist individuals in obtaining competitive community based employment. TAP services include: Comprehensive/Indisualized Vocational Assessment, Vocational Skills Training, On Site Vocational Experience, Social Skills Training, Autism Specific Job Coaching, Job Placement Services, Post Employment Support, Post Secondary Support, Family Involvement, Community Integration, and Independent Living Skills, Training.
